Bus Driver

About the Role

Bus Driver Trainee The job of Bus Driver Trainee is done for the purpose of learning to transport students over

scheduled routes and/or to/from special excursions; ensuring vehicle operation is in safe operating condition; and

ensuring safety of students during transport, loading and unloading from buses. Advises students and other passengers of

appropriate behavior Assesses incidents, complaints, accidents and/or potential emergency situations; assists students

and other passengers Attends meetings, trainings, etc. Cleans assigned vehicles, both interior and exterior; drives

school bus(es) Fuels assigned vehicle, e.g., oil, water, fuel, etc. Performs pre-trip and post-trip inspections, e.g.,
