About the Role
Job Title ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: Support HUSD Vision, Mission and Goals. Ensures students are
transported safely and securely between residences and schools and / or between schools and approved field trips.
Performs pre-trip inspection of bus to ensure bus meets all State and Federal guidelines for safe operation, including
restraints if applicable. Completes any documentation required pre-trip inspections, mileage logs, student counts,
special needs students, disciplinary forms (if applicable), and field trip sheets. Checks interior of bus after students
are dropped off for students or any items left by students. Completes requests for repair of any mechanical issues.
