About the Role

Bus Driver This position is responsible to the Director of Transportation. The Bus Driver has responsibility for

providing safe and efficient student transportation. To maintain discipline when students are on the bus and report

undisciplined students to the principal. To keep assigned bus clean. To keep assigned bus schedule. To inspect bus daily

before each operation for mechanical defects. To notify the proper authority in case of mechanical failure or lateness.

Obey all traffic laws. To observe all mandatory safety regulation for school buses. To discharge students only at

authorized stops. To exercise responsible leadership when on District school trips. To transport only authorized
