About the Role

Bus Driver Substitute The job of the Bus Driver Substitute is done for the purpose of transporting students over

scheduled routes and/or to/from special excursions; ensuring vehicle is in safe operating condition; and ensuring safety

of students during transport, loading and unloading from buses. Responsibilities include advising students and other

passengers of appropriate behavior; assessing incidents, complaints, accidents and/or potential emergency situations;

assisting students and other passengers; attending meetings, trainings, etc.; cleaning assigned vehicles, both interior

and exterior; conducting emergency evacuation drills; driving school bus(es); fueling assigned vehicle, (e.g. oil,
