Diesel/ Heavy Equipment Mechanic

About the Role

Adjusts, services and repairs automotive equipment. Diagnoses, adjusts, repairs, and overhauls heavy equipment. Repairs

and replaces damaged or worn parts. Dismantles and resembles heavy equipment using hoists and hand tools. Performs a

full range of skilled repair work, such as minor tune-ups, electrical system servicing, and engine overhauls. Diagnoses

faults or malfunctions and inspects to determine required repairs using computer software. Tests mechanical products and

equipment after repair or assembly to ensure proper performance. Repairs automotive and heavy duty equipment. Instructs

operators in the proper operation and servicing of their equipment. Operates and maintains shop equipment. Performs
