Grounds Keeper

About the Role

Facilities Assistant 1 Non-Exempt Facilities Management, West campus, seeks a Groundskeeper to maintain grounds and

participate in all types of grounds maintenance activities. Essential Duties Maintain landscaped areas on campus

utilizing best management practices. Operate lawn mowers, edgers, various hand tools and vehicles associated with ground

maintenance and landscaping tasks. Prune trees and shrubs to University standards. Plant shrubs, trees, and flowers.

Perform minor irrigation repairs and monitoring. Conduct trash and debris removal as needed. Perform minor maintenance

and repair on equipment and tools as required. Adhere to departmental safety standards. Perform other duties as
