About the Role

Heavy Equipment Operator Responsible for operating and maintaining various heavy equipment, including but not limited to

trench excavators, backhoes, and loaders in a safe expeditious manner in accordance with OSHA safe practices.

Responsibilities Operate a variety of heavy equipment for underground utility projects. Take actions to avoid potential

hazards or obstructions, such as utility lines, other equipment, other workers, or falling objects. Locate underground

services, such as pipes or wires, prior to beginning work. Understand proper backfill requirements. Perform safe and

clean trench excavation and backfill. Set and pull shield shoring and trench boxes in accordance with OSHA safe
