About the Role

Welder Helper The Welder Helper supports welders and fabrication teams by preparing materials, maintaining tools, and

assisting with basic welding tasks in a shop environment. This role requires familiarity with common welding tools and

adherence to safety standards. Responsibilities Assist welders with setup, material handling, and job preparation.

Operate basic shop tools, including grinders, oxy-acetylene torch, and chop saw. Measure and mark materials using a tape

measure to ensure accuracy. Clean and prep metal surfaces for welding through grinding and deburring. Maintain tools,

equipment, and work areas in safe working condition. Follow all shop safety procedures, including PPE and hazard
