About the Role
Welder and Fitter Structural Mining Equipment This position focuses on structural welding, fitting, and fabrication to
repair and refurbish large-scale mining excavators and related heavy equipment. You will work inside a large,
swamp-cooled fabrication bay, performing structural repairs on critical components that experience heavy wear and tear,
using a combination of welding, gouging, cutting, and fitting skills to restore equipment to safe and reliable
operation. Responsibilities Perform structural welding repairs on large mining excavators and other heavy equipment
subjected to heavy-duty use. Repair cracks, fractures, and worn components that result from ongoing equipment operation.
