About the Role
Van Driver A van driver for a K-12 school transports students safely and efficiently to and from school and other
related events. This may include regular routes, field trips, extracurricular activities, and special education
transportation. Van drivers are responsible for the well-being of the students in their care while in transit. Specific
responsibilities include: Safe and defensive driving practices. Maintain discipline and safety among passengers. Perform
routine vehicle inspections and maintenance. Effective communication and interpersonal skills. Understands and follows
oral and written directions. Maintain routine records. All other duties & responsibilities assigned by Transportation
