About the Job A hotel Shipping and Receiving Clerk manages all incoming deliveries and outgoing shipments, ensuring
accurate inventory, proper storage, and timely distribution of goods to hotel departments. Key duties include inspecting
shipments for damage, updating inventory records, and operating loading equipment, while maintaining a safe, organized,
and secure loading dock area. Receiving & Inspection: Unload trucks, scan items, and verify incoming freight against
purchase orders for accuracy. Inventory Distribution: Distribute delivered items (supplies, food, linens) to the
appropriate departments efficiently. Shipping & Logistics: Package and label outgoing items, arranging logistics for
